Communities in Action and Faith Executive Director Sarah Nolan was born in Las Cruces and raised in Vado, New Mexico with her mom and sister.
After graduating from Gadsden High School, she attended the University of San Francisco in San Francisco, CA where she received degrees in Theology and Latin American History.
During an immersion semester in Central America she found her vocation in faith based community organizing, returned to the US and worked with the Archdiocese of San Francisco Office of Public Policy & Social Concerns and with the PICO National Network.
In 2009 she returned to Las Cruces.
