Authorities say they have no new leads in the search for a former White House chef who went missing more than a week ago while hiking in New Mexico.

New Mexico State Police say volunteers and search teams fanned out Sunday morning in the mountains near Taos Ski Valley to look for any signs of 61-year-old Walter Scheib.

The White House chef for 11 years under Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, Scheib recently moved from Florida to Taos, N.M.

He reportedly went hiking June 13.

A family member reported him missing June 16. Police found his vehicle later that day parked at the Yerba Canyon trailhead.

The U.S. Air Force and New Mexico National Guard are assisting in the search.
