The Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley is seeking donations of carpet scraps and old carpet for use in cat cages at the facility.

The facility is in need of donations of dog crates, towels, blankets and long-strand shredded paper. Volunteers also are needed to assist with animal care and socializing.
