Southern New Mexicans Discuss Healthcare

Las Cruces, NM – America's healthcare system overall is ranked thirty-seventh among 191 countries according to a World Health Organization survey. One of the problems with the system is access to healthcare given that millions of Americans are without coverage.

KRWG's news reporters recently asked a number of southern New Mexicans for their opinion on what the government should do to make healthcare accessible to more Americans. Among the proposed ideas was implementing a Canadian-style national health care system and more rural health clinics.
