Las Cruces, NM – The Stonewall riots in New York City, forty years ago, are said to have launched the international gay rights movement. As KRWG's Melissa Aguilera reports, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender community of southern New Mexico commemorated the event, over the weekend, while calling for marriage equality in the state.
