The District 3 5A Champion Las Cruces Bulldawgs will meet the Eldorado Eagles in a semi-final high school football playoff game beginning at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Wilson Stadium in Albuquerque. If LCHS defeats Eldorado, the Bulldawgs will advance to the state championship game, which will be played either Friday, December 7 or Saturday, December 8.
LCHS qualified for the semi-finals by defeating the Clovis Wildcats 70-40 November 23. LCHS has 750 of the games total 1,100 yards of offense.
The Mayfield High School Trojans were eliminated 35-28 by Sandia High School in another quarter-finals game played November 23 in Albuquerque. Mayfield had defeated the Manzano Monarchs 35-28 November 16 to advance to the quarter-finals.
Because the LCHS game is being played in Albuquerque, there will be no webcast on the LCPS website. Instead, the game can be watched on ProView Network at www.proviewnetworks.com/?q=node/35..
