Las Cruces, NM – The New Mexico State Senate passed a bill yesterday/Monday meant to fight cervical cancer by making it mandatory for girls entering the sixth grade to be vaccinated against the Human Papillomavirus, or HPV. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, the bill was sponsored by Senator and OBGYN Physician Steve Komadina.
