Las Cruces, NM – New Mexico's State Treasurer's office has been stuck in scandal in recent years as the past two treasurers, Michael Montoya and Robert Vigil have both faced criminal charges. As KRWG's Charles Winiecki reports, this year's candidates, Democrat James Lewis and Republican Demesia Padilla, say they are both looking to rid the office of any further corruption.
