Stimulus Package will Help Expedite Work on Rio Grande Levee System

Las Cruces, NM – More than two-hundred million dollars from the stimulus plan signed by President Barack Obama yesterday will go towards levee improvements along the Rio Grande. The International Boundary and Water Commission will oversee the improvements and as KRWG's Marco Grajeda reports, a spokesperson says the funding will expedite construction while creating jobs.
