Suspect Sought In Las Cruces Bank Robbery

Las Cruces Police and agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man suspected of committing a robbery Monday afternoon at the US Bank on University Avenue.

The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras at the US Bank at 901 E. University Ave. in Las Cruces. The man was said to be white, around 5-feet-6-inches tall with a stocky build. He was said to have blond hair and green eyes. Witnesses described him as wearing blue jeans, and a green or gray shirt.

Shortly after 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, Las Cruces Police were dispatched to the robbery of the US Bank at 901 E. University Ave. Officers learned that a man committed a robbery at the bank and then left on foot headed east from that location. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported.
