TCEQ Considers Delaying ASARCO Hearing

Las Cruces, NM – Friday the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, or T-C-E-Q will consider a request from the city of El Paso to delay their decision about the reopening of the ASARCO copper smelter. As KRWG s Jessica Borchert reports, ASARCO is seeking the approval of an air quality permit to re-open their El Paso plant.
