Third Candidate In Race For Las Cruces Council District 4

Richard Hall

Richard Hall has announced his bid to replace Las Cruces City Councilor Nathan Small, representing District 4 on the City Council. Two others, Gilbert Vasquez and Jack Eakman have also announced candidacies in District 4.

Small previously announced he is not seeking re-election after two terms in office.

Along with his wife and stepson, Hall says he has lived in Las Cruces for nearly 20 years.  Hall adds that he is a small business owner and contractor.

“Working as a small business owner and in the nonprofit sector for nearly two decades, I know the importance of a strong economy and vibrant community. I’ll work to bring more jobs to District 4 by utilizing our industrial park and revitalizing empty storefronts along Valley and Picacho. Furthermore, I understand that lower taxes and impact fees will jumpstart our economy by allowing citizens to keep more of their hard earned money.  A third priority is the safety of our residents and crime prevention across our growing neighborhoods,” states Hall.

Hall says he has donated $2,100 to his campaign and has $1,7000 cash on hand.
