El Paso – A suspect in the kidnapping of a Texas man later found slain in a Mexican street with his arms chopped off has surrendered to authorities.
El Paso County Sheriff's Deputy Jesse Tovar tells the El Paso Times that 26-year-old Rafael Vega, suspected in the Sept. 3 abduction of 30-year-old Sergio Saucedo, turned himself in at police headquarters Saturday. A jail official did not have an attorney listed for Vega.
Two other suspects, Omar Obregon and Cesar Obregon, both 21, were arrested Wednesday.
The Obregon brothers and Vega remained in jail on $250,000 bond on suspicion of aggravated kidnapping on Saturday.
Tovar says authorities are still searching for a fourth suspect who investigators believe masterminded Saucedo's abduction from his home in Horizon City, near El Paso.
