Third Suspect Arrested In Burglary

Doña Ana County Sheriff’s investigators say a third suspect wanted in a residential burglary last month – that was allegedly arranged by the daughter of the homeowners – is in custody.

According to court documents, Salvador Hernandez Trejo, 49, was arrested in Deming last week and is currently being held at the Luna County Detention Center.

Trejo is charged with aggravated burglary after homeowners in the 1400 block of Jeanne Court reported guns and jewelry had been stolen from their home on March 19, 2013.

According to court documents, Amy Lynn Siegel, 20, had allegedly shared information with her boyfriend, 19-year-old Brenden Parrill, about where her parents’ guns and jewelry were kept inside the home she shared with her parents. Parrill, in turn, allegedly arranged the burglary.

Investigators obtained a warrant for Trejo, the third person implicated in the break-in.

Trejo was arrested April 25 and is expected to be transported to the Doña Ana County Detention Center, where he will be held on a $10,000 cash-only bond.
