Thousands of New Mexico Homeowners Facing Foreclosure May Benefit From Settlement

Las Cruces, NM – Thousands of New Mexico homeowners facing foreclosure may be eligible for mortgage loan modifications under a settlement agreement reached between the state Attorney General's office and Countrywide Home Loans. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, more than 8% of Countrywide's mortgage loans in the state are delinquent or facing foreclosure.
