State police say three teenagers have died from a deadly rollover crash in northern New Mexico.
The accident occurred Monday on U.S. 550 just north of Cuba.
A New Mexico State Police spokesman Emmanuel Gutierrez says there were five people in the Toyota SUV at the time of the accident and that two of them were ejected. The vehicle appears to have Texas license plates.
Texas A&M officials told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that freshman defensive lineman Polo Manukainiu died in a crash during a trip home from Utah. But authorities have not confirmed if Manukainiu was in the New Mexico crash.
A fourth person has been airlifted in critical condition. The condition of a fifth person is unknown.
Police say the ages of the teens who died were 13, 18 and 19.
