New Mexico – Readers of Global Traveler Magazine have named New Mexico as the best domestic tourism destination.
That's according to the New Mexico Tourism Department.
The department says the results of the magazine's seventh annual reader survey were published in last month's issue. An awards ceremony was held last week in New York.
The Tourism Department's advertising manager, Martin Leger, says the state's diverse cultural resources provide many possibilities for visitors who are vacationing in any part of New Mexico.
Global Traveler is a luxury travel magazine written for executive business travelers.
