Two Arrested; One At Large In Home Theft

Doña Ana County Sheriff’s investigators have made two arrests following the burglary of a home north of Las Cruces. One of the suspects lived at the home and allegedly gave information that led to another suspect’s arrest.

On March 19, 2013, Doña Ana County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home in the 1400 block of Jeanne Court. The victim told deputies that when he arrived home that afternoon, he noticed several firearms and his wife’s jewelry was missing.

After an investigation and questioning the victims’ daughter, Doña Ana County Sheriff’s deputies learned the daughter allegedly shared information with her boyfriend about where her father’s guns and her mother’s jewelry were kept.

A warrant was obtained for Amy Lynn Siegel, 20, who was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary. She remains at the Doña Ana County Detention Center on a $1,500 secured bond.

Siegel’s boyfriend, 19-year-old Brenden Parrill, also was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary. Parrill was transported to the Doña Ana County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.

Investigators have obtained a warrant for a third person implicated in the burglary: Salvador Hernandez Trejo, 49.

Anyone with information on Trejo’s whereabouts is asked to call the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Department at (575) 525-8884.
