Alamogordo – New Mexico authorities say two Alamogordo men are hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting.
Officers from the Alamogordo Department of Public Safety responded to the area of the Aspen and Jefferson late Friday night about two males bleeding heavily.
They say 39-year-old Anthony Gutierrez and 35-year-old Manuel Gutierrez were found shot multiple times and had received serious injuries.
It's unclear if the men are related.
DPS says the shooting occurred at a private residence in the 1300 block of Jefferson and authorities are still investigating what happened.
They say both victims were transported by air ambulance to University Hospital in El Paso, Texas.
