A convenience store employee and another person were hospitalized in stable condition after being shot during an altercation which the employee had tried to break up.
Police say the incident occurred early Monday morning at a store at San Mateo Boulevard and Kathryn Avenue.
According to police, two men were arguing inside the store and then in the parking lot before the employee tried to break up the altercation and one of the men began shooting.
The gunfire wounded the other man involved in the altercation plus the store employee.
Police have a person of interest and are working on locating that individual.
