The natural gas leak that closed a portion of Walnut Street near Lohman Avenue Monday morning has been repaired.
The leak was reported at around 10 a.m. Monday, March 17, and briefly forced the closure of southbound lanes of Walnut Street from Lohman Avenue.
Las Cruces Police encourage motorists who drive along Walnut Street south of Lohman Avenue to proceed with caution as utility crews are still working in that area.
