U.S. Bank will have its name tied to University of New Mexico's main athletic facilities thanks to a million dollar donation.
University officials announced Friday that U.S. Bank is giving $1.7 million to Lobo Athletics.
In exchange for the contribution, U.S. Bank will get the naming rights for premium seating areas at Lobo football and basketball games.
The Pit will have a U.S. Bank Suite and Club Level and University Stadium will have a U.S. Bank End Zone Club and U.S. Bank Zia Levels.
The school says the donation is the second largest cash gift ever given to UNM Athletics.
