A disaster declaration by President Barack Obama for mid-September storms and flooding makes federal aid available to New Mexico's Santa Clara Pueblo.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency says the federal assistance will supplement the tribe's efforts and those of private nonprofit groups.
FEMA says additional designations may be made in the future.
Santa Clara Pueblo is located near Espanola.
