USDA Celebrates Anthony, New Mexico Projects Today
USDA Rural Development State Director Terry Brunner will be heading a four event caravan to report and demonstrate to the public the successful economic development and lifestyle efforts the U.S. Department of Agriculture has had through the StrikeForce for Rural Growth and Opportunity initiative in Anthony, New Mexico.
The StrikeForce initiative was created to increase investment in rural communities through outreach by developing and strengthening partnerships with organizations, other governmental entities and individuals working to combat poverty in Rural America. Through these partnerships the department is providing better access to the full range of its financial resources to those high poverty areas throughout the country and the state of New Mexico.
The four projects being highlighted during the event caravan will provide a wide variety of services or lifestyle opportunities to those choosing to live in Anthony, New Mexico through the creation of jobs, better infrastructure and better housing opportunities
