The Doña Ana County Board of Commissioners has increased utility rates in Doña Ana County in order to continue serving customers with safe and effective wastewater treatment methods.

The increases will be phased in over a five-year period. The new rates become effective on July 10, 2017, and they will be reflected on the August 2017 billings.

Residential rates will rise to $33.50. Commercial rates will rise to $84. Institutional rates will rise to $120. Industrial rates will rise to $168.75. And multi-use rates will rise to $33.50 per dwelling unit.

Rates in subsequent years will increase at a moderate rate annually through 2021, plus any increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
