WNMU Signs Agreement With School In Mexico

Western New Mexico University has signed an agreement with a Mexican school to exchange faculty members and students for study and research projects.

Officials from Western New Mexico and the Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez gathered recently in Mexico to sign the agreement.

The two universities first began discussing a possible agreement when Mexican officials visited Silver City in March. Further talks about what the two schools have to offer followed.

Among other things, the agreement calls for joint research opportunities and the exchanging of invitations to scholars to participate in conferences and symposiums.
