Federal authorities are searching for a woman suspected in an Albuquerque bank robbery.
FBI spokesman Frank Fisher says a woman allegedly robbed a US Bank in northeast Albuquerque on Friday just before 6 p.m.
According to witnesses, the suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money.
The teller complied and the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.
She was seen wearing a dark jacket, a dark baseball cap with a red or light-colored brim and carrying a large black purse slung over her shoulder.
She is described as Hispanic, between 20 and 25 years old, 5-foot-4 and weighting approximately 120 pounds.
Fisher says investigators are trying to determine if the same suspect was involved in two other bank robberies this month.
