We begin in Pakistan where an Islamabad court has granted former President Pervez Musharraf bail over a military operation to force militants from the capital's Red Mosque.
The former military leader has been charged with murder over the death of a radical cleric who died in the 2007 raid.
Musharraf cannot leave Pakistan without government approval. He has been under house arrest since April.
Musharraf faces charges in three other cases: murder charges in the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and Baloch tribal leader Nawab Akbar Bugti; as well as over his attempt to fire Supreme Court justices. He's on bail on all those cases, too.

Now to Kenya where four men charged in connection with the deadly attack on Nairobi's Westgate mall in September were arraigned in court Monday.
"The accused persons carried out a terrorist attack at Westgate Shopping Mall on 21 September by supporting a terrorist group," the charge sheet read.
The men, all identified as ethnic Somalis, pleaded not guilty. None has been accused of being present at the shopping center on the day of the attack, but instead have been charged with aiding the gunmen.
More than 60 people were killed in the attack, which was claimed by al-Shabaab, a Somali Islamist group that claims ties to al-Qaida.

Finally, at least eight people are dead after the aircraft in which they were traveling crashed in the northern Amazon region, near the border with Brazil.
Eighteen people were aboard the Fairchild Metro 23 turboprop aircraft traveling from Trinidad to Riberalta. The plane, operated by Aerocon airlines, caught fire as it was landing in Riberalta. La Razon reported low visibility and heavy rains at the time of the landing.
Both the pilot and copilot survived, but are in serious condition.
