   April 10, 2015 – Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with a mother and her daughter, both diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). From Los Alamos, New Mexico, Debra Snow has been living with MS for eighteen years; her daughter, Jackie Becker resides in Las Cruces and has learned to live with her disease since her diagnosis in 2011. Although MS is not considered a hereditary disease, Snow has four other members of her family with MS, including her daughter.

January 4, 2013 – Las Cruces, NM - On this edition of PUENTES, Emily Guerra bridges the community with Border/Environmental Justice Liaison for the New Mexico Environment Department, Thomas Ruiz. He will talk to us about a global chronic disease of the central nervous system, Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

The National MS Society has been walking since 1988 to help create a world free of MS. To register and to help the Las Cruces Chapter visit their website at “main.nationalmssociety.org.”  Walk MS: Las Cruces will be held at Young Park on Saturday, April 6th starting at 9 a.m.
