Grant County’s premier disc golf tournament.
Join us for a PDGA-sanctioned event featuring three unique and scenic courses across Silver City, New Mexico. With a blend of rugged desert terrain, pine forest fairways, and historic landscapes, the KNC delivers an unforgettable playing experience for amateurs and pros alike.

Come celebrate art and nature with Asombro at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park during this free event. Hands-on, family friendly activities and demonstrations will showcase local artists from ArtForms, the Las Cruces Arts Association, the New Mexico Watercolor Society, and Asombro. Booths will be located near the upper parking lot at the Park.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will occur during the event at 10 AM to celebrate the official opening of the new 75-seat amphitheater as well as the surrounding permanent art installations.

The guild has a social atmosphere for people interested in the art of quilting from beginners to professional quilters. Business meeting, show and tell of quilts, different drawings, quilt challenge, break for snacks/drinks before Program. Program is a project workshop at no charge. April 2026 at the Deming Art Center will feature the wonderful designs and innovative creations of the Deming High School art students. It is always exciting to see what they have created, and we invite the community to support these young artists by stopping by to see for yourselves. The exhibit will be up from April 2 – 29, 2026. There will be a time to meet these talented student artists on Sunday, April 5, 2026, from 1-2:30PM at the Deming Art Center which is located at 100 S. Gold St., Deming, NM.

Enjoy the far-ranging work of 50 Grant County Art Guild members in our annual art exhibition. The show is being held at the GCAG Studio, 307 N Texas in Silver City. The last weekend of the show is April 10-12. Hours 10am-5pm.

Celebrate springtime with five local artisans. Suzanne Kane creates desert inspired sculptures blending welded steel with mid-fired stoneware. A.Me and Mitch Alamag (Rokoko) create colorful, whimsical and thoughtful contemporary folk art. Mary Lou LaCasse makes metal and ceramic garden sculptures which are eclectic and include weldable found pieces of metal. Rosemary McLoughlin is primarily an oil painter who incorporates magical figures and animals into her paintings.
Join the artists at the First Friday reception, April 3 from 5 to 7 for discussion. refreshments and live music.

These classes are for those people who can be helped with extending a healthy diet using common pantry items. Also learning from each other.
