Planned Giving

“I’d really like to do something more for KRWG…”

Many of our members want to do something for KRWG in addition to their annual membership contribution, but aren’t always sure where to start.  A planned gift to KRWG is the most powerful way to ensure a legacy of outstanding public radio and public television in Southern New Mexico and West Texas for years to come.

It can be as simple as adding language to your will. Here is some suggested language to get you started:

I give/devise to the New Mexico State University Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, EIN: 85-0170157:

The sum of $_______________ to benefit KRWG Public Radio, Public Television or both; OR

All of my interest in the following property: _____________ to benefit KRWG Public Radio, Public Television or both; OR

____% /or all /of the residue of my estate to benefit KRWG Public Radio, Public Television or both.

And you may also realize income, a tax benefit, or both as a creative way to support KRWG.  The staff at New Mexico State University, KRWG's licensee, are on hand to help you complete your plans.  Visit www.plannedgiving.nmsu.edu for more information and ideas. Or you may call KRWG’s Development Director, Denise Tafoya, at 866-441-4634 or datafoya@nmsu.edu to get started today.

Have you already included KRWG in your estate plans?  Let us know so that we may recognize you as a member of the KRWG Legacy Society and NMSU Foundation 1888 Society.

Thank you for all of the ways you support KRWG Public Radio and Public Television!
