Las Cruces, NM – Northrup Grumman has donated a $200,000 Yamaha remote control helicopter to New Mexico State University's College of Engineering. The unmanned aircraft vehicle, or UAV, will be helpful for student training. UAVs are used in an increasingly diverse number of areas, including defense, farming, and gathering data during wildfires and other emergencies. Fred Martino spoke with Northrup Grumman's Vice President of Programs, Carl Johnson.
