After six weeks of training, the Winter 2012 Class of the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department Citizen's Academy graduated 28 members on Saturday, Feb. 25.
Members were given about 24 hours of total instruction related to various divisions of the department, including tours of the Doña Ana County Detention Center, the shooting range, and the Mesilla Valley Regional Dispatch Center.
Sheriff Todd Garrison joined class instructor Deputy Michelle Ugalde on Saturday for a graduation ceremony at the Doña Ana County Government Center.
