Two men who told Doña Ana County Sheriff’s deputies they were “hanging out and drinking” became combative and ended their evening with one man stabbing the other in the arm.
Doña Ana County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 6300 block of Doña Ana Road on Tuesday after Ryan Torres allegedly grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed his 28-year-old friend in the arm.
Torres, 24, ran from the house but deputies quickly located him walking down Doña Ana Road.
The victim refused medical treatment. Torres received minor injuries from the victim, who reportedly fought back after being stabbed.
Torres was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He’s being held at the Doña Ana County Detention Center on a $10,000 surety bond.
