New Mexico – Dona Ana County District Attorney Susana Martinez will take on Lt. Gov. Diane Denish in the New Mexico Governor's race in November. Martinez handily defeated four other GOP contenders.
Former Second District Congressman Steve Pearce defeated challenger Cliff Pirtle for the chance to take on incumbent Democrat Harry Teague.
In the Lieutenant Governor's race in November, Democrat Brian Colon will face Republican John Sanchez after both men won in their respective primaries.
In the GOP primary for a seat on the Public Regulation Commission, Ben Hall beat three challengers for the chance to face Bill McCamley, who was unopposed in the Democratic primary.
