Bingaman and Environmentalists Applaud Reinstatement of 'Roadless' Areas in National Forests

Las Cruces, NM – Late last week United States Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that nearly 60 million acres of special roadless' areas on National Forest land will be given interim protections. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, the decision is being hailed by New Mexico's Senior Senator Jeff Bingaman and several environmental groups as well.
