BLM LIfts Fire Restrictions In New Mexico

Santa Fe, NM – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is terminating all fire restrictions, effective Tuesday, July 10th at 8 a.m. Most areas have received enough rainfall or increased humidity levels to safely remove the fire restrictions that have been in place since earlier this summer.

The lifting of fire restrictions has been coordinated with other land management agencies and the New Mexico State Forestry Division. While areas are now less prone to wildfires, the public is asked to continue being careful with fire when visiting public lands.

Please visit www.publiclands.org for other area fire restrictions.
