Donut Shop Robbery Suspect Sought

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that helps identify the man suspected of committing a robbery Monday at a local donut shop.

At around 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, a man entered the Bosa Donuts, at 190 Avenida de Mesilla, and demanded money from a store employee. The suspected indicated that he was armed with a gun but never displayed one.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the store.

The suspect is described as possibly Hispanic, around 5-feet-7-inches tall with a mustache and goatee. He was wearing a dark-colored hoodie and dark sunglasses.

Anyone with information that can help identify the suspect is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send a tip by text message to CRIMES (274637), keyword LCTIPS.
