Las Cruces, NM – Tuesday New Mexico's Attorney General Gary King filed a motion with the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Appeals Board, requesting that it accept new evidence when considering the fate of the proposed Desert Rock Power Plant in Northwestern New Mexico. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, King claims that ozone impacts in the area from the oil and gas industry are significantly higher than the EPA had assumed when it permitted the facility.
