A helicopter has crashed near Truth or Consequences and one person is reportedly dead.
New Mexico State Police Emmanuel Gutierrez said Saturday that authorities were dispatched to the area of Highway 187 to investigate.
It was not immediately know what caused the crash or how many people were on board.
No further information was available.
