Hunt Companies Welcomes New Executive Vice President

Daniel Singer

  Commentary: Hunt Companies, Inc. announced today that Daniel Singer has been named Executive Vice President of Hunt Companies.  In this role, Daniel will be located in Hunt’s New York City office and will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, structuring and managing capital market opportunities for Hunt and its affiliates. Daniel will play a critical role in building and coordinating relationships with banking and financing industries to access capital and ensure Hunt is strategically aligned within the industry and with the correct partners.

Mr. Singer has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry, including senior roles in fixed income capital markets, real estate finance, and investment management.

Prior to joining Hunt, Mr. Singer was the co-founder and Managing Partner of Forsyth Street Asset Management, a specialty investment advisor focused on opportunistic strategies in public finance, real estate, affordable housing and renewable energy finance. He also spent 25 years at Lehman Brothers, serving as a Managing Director in senior roles in the Fixed Income Division and the Global Real Estate Group.

Born and raised in New York City, Mr. Singer received his BA in Economics from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.  Mr. Singer lives in Manhattan with his wife and three children. He serves on the board of the East Harlem School at Exodus House, a private middle school serving economically disadvantaged families in East Harlem and across NYC.
