I-10 West will be completely closed between the Buena Vista Bridge (aka the Bridge to Nowhere) and the Sunland Park Overpass for 11 nights ─ from July 5 to July 19 each night (Sunday through Thursday) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. as follows:
> 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 5 to 5 a.m. the following morning
> 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 to 5 a.m. the following morning
> 9 p.m. Thursday, July 7 to 5 a.m. the following morning
> 9 p.m. Sunday, July 10 to 5 a.m. the following morning
> 9 p.m. Monday, July 11 to 5 a.m. the following morning
> 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 12 to 5 a.m. the following morning
> 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 to 5 a.m. the following morning
> 9 p.m. Thursday, July 14 to 5 a.m. the following morning
> 9 p.m. Sunday, July 17 to 5 a.m. the following morning
> 9 p.m. Monday, July 18 to 5 a.m. the following morning
> 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 19 to 5 a.m. the following morning
This closure is necessary while crews hang steel girders, which will be part of the new I-10 westbound direct connector ramps from Paisano Drive (US 85). Attachment: rendering of new direct connector ramps.
