nmfilm.com

Santa Fe, NM - New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis announced today that the comedy feature, "Ideal Home," will begin principal photography mid-May and shoot through mid-June in Santa Fe.

The production will employ approximately 150 New Mexico crew members, approximately 30 New Mexico cast members and 500 background talent throughout the production.

The feature is directed by Andrew Fleming ("Hamlet 2," "The Craft," "Nancy Drew") and produced by Aaron Ryder ("Mud," "The Prestige"), Maria Arida ("Arbitrage," "City Island") Gabrielle Tana ("Philomena," "The Duchess") and Lucia Seabra ("A Suprema Felicidade," "City Island") along with executive producers Clark Peterson ("Monster") Maxime Rémillard ("Public Enemy") and co-producer / UPM Katie Mustard ("The Greatest," "Exposed," "Shelter").

Starring Steve Coogan ("Philomena," "Despicable Me") and Paul Rudd ("Ant-Man," "I Love You, Man"), "Ideal Home," is the story of Paul and Erasmus who live an elegantly curated and care-free life in Santa Fe - that is until Erasmus' ten year old grandson appears on their doorstep, to stay. They immediately prove to be the worst caretakers in the world. Making every mistake possible, it turns out, is a reasonable form of parenting.
