october 24th, 2009 – Encore of the interview with Poet and Translator Don Mee Choi. She was in Las Cruces for a speaking engagement through Zephyr Press and the NMSU English Department. Don Mee talked about her coming across the poems of three Korean women who challenged the societal expectations of women in the country by talking about things Korean women did NOT talk about, about her coming to the U.S., translating the poems and how she was able to meet one of the women who is still a prolific writer.
