A performance by Latin Grammy Award-winning La Catrina String Quartet will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at the Las Cruces Convention Center. Tickets are $30 and include two glasses of wine and tapas (Spanish appetizers). Tickets can be purchased at NMSU in room 235 of Garcia Annex, or online: https://shopcart.nmsu.edu/shop/chipro. Tickets will be sold through Aug. 29. The event is sponsored by the Hispanic Faculty/Staff Caucus (HFSC) of NMSU. The HFSC encourages interested parties to purchase tickets in advance. Net proceeds will benefit the HFSC scholarship endowment fund at the NMSU Foundation.
