Las Cruces Armed Robbery

By KRWG News

Las Cruces – Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information that leads to the arrests of four teenagers, or young adults, who committed an armed robbery early this morning at an area convenience store.

Shortly after 5 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, Las Cruces Police responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Pic Quick store at 3925 S. Main St. Officers learned that four teens, or young adults, entered the store and one of them threatened a cashier with a long knife.

Two of the four male suspects then jumped over the cashier's counter while the other two appeared to be acting as lookouts while inside the store.

The suspects stole cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash from the store and then left the parking lot and headed to a dark-colored sport utility vehicle that appeared to be waiting nearby. The driver of the SUV appeared to be a blond female.

The male who brandished the knife was described as Hispanic and was wearing a black hoodie, black shirt and checkered shorts. The other male who jumped the counter was wearing all dark clothing. The SUV appeared to be dark red in color or black.

No injuries were reported.

If you have any information on the identities of the suspects you are asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send a tip via text message to LCTIPS (528477).

The Crime Stoppers number and text messaging services are operational 24 hours a day and you do not have to give your name to collect a reward.
