May is Older Americans Month and Las Cruces Senior Programs will have a celebration for the entire community from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at Munson Center, 975 S. Mesquite St.
Seniors, as well as City staff of all ages, are invited to enjoy free food, music, and dancing. The 2018 Older Americans Month theme is “Engage at Every Age.”
“The Senior Programs celebration shows that no matter where residents are in their lives, there is no better time than now to start taking part in community activities that enrich physical, mental, and emotional well-being,” said Michael Garcia, Senior Programs Recreation Facility Manager.
Munson Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. The center is closed Saturday and Sunday.
