Las Cruces Farmers Market Moves; Changes To Winter Hours

By KRWG News

Las Cruces – Beginning this Saturday, Nov. 5th, the Las Cruces Farmers & Crafts Market will no longer occupy the southern part of Downtown in order to make room for the next phase of construction to complete Main Street.

Market vendors will re-locate to the newly opened portion of Main Street from Las Cruces Avenue to the roundabout on the north end.

Also on Nov. 5th, the market will shift to winter hours, which are 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The move to winter hours coincides with the change back to standard time, which occurs this weekend.

"Come down and join us as we move to the newest part of revamped Main Street in Downtown Las Cruces," says Eric Montgomery, program coordinator for the Farmers & Crafts Market. "Help us reconnect with our downtown business partners and celebrate the continued progress in the heart of our city!" Montgomery said.

The Las Cruces Farmers & Crafts Market was recently voted America's Favorite Farmers Market of all large markets in the nation in an online contest hosted each year by American Farmland Trust (AFT).
