Las Cruces To Host State Convention

  LAS CRUCES, NM - The 2013 American Institute of Architects (AIA) New Mexico State Convention will be held September 13-15, 2013 at the Las Cruces Convention Center.

 

The convention will begin with workshops on Friday, followed by various seminars on Saturday. Seminar topics include: "Main Street Downtown Las Cruces revitalization case study" and "Breathing new life into existing structures." 

A reception and awards banquet will be held Saturday evening from 6-10 pm featuring New Mexico Secretary of Economic Development Jon Barela.

On Sunday, attendees can enjoy the AIA NM Golf Tournament, a morning hike up the Organ Mountains or a tour of the Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park and Mesilla Plaza.

 

AIA New Mexico is the state component of the American Institute of Architects and is the unifying voice of all New Mexico chapters of AIA. It represents and advocates for the architectural community as the leader in shaping the built environment for the public good.
