City Councillor Miguel Silva, District 1, will host two opportunities for the public to view the new master plan concept for Klein Park, East Griggs Avenue, and to discuss future steps.
The concept was approved by the Las Cruces City Council in December. The concept is the result of resident input over a period spanning three months, and consultants who incorporated the input along with anticipated renovations needed for the park.
Klein Park, located in the Mesquite Historic District, is an important park to the neighborhood and community as a whole. The park is in need of repairs and renovations, which will increase its usefulness and relevance to the neighborhood.
